Bashir Assi, Adv.

Bashir Assi is the founder of Assi Law Firm and a licensed attorney with a diverse background in law, economics, and investments. A member of the Israeli Bar Association since 2003, he advises local and international businesses and organizations on corporate, commercial, financial, and regulatory matters.

His practice includes cross-border transactions, investment agreements, joint ventures, fund formation, technology ventures, financial institutions, and renewable energy. He also represents clients in civil and commercial disputes and provides ongoing counsel to international NGOs.

Alongside his legal practice, Bashir has undertaken advisory engagements involving the EBRD, World Bank Group, UN agencies, GIZ, and other international development organizations. His work spans legal reform, financial inclusion, digitalization, and business-enabling regulatory environments.

Before founding the firm, he worked as an investment manager at the Palestine Investment Fund, managing diverse investments and leading negotiations and deal structuring. He completed a traineeship at the European Commission in Brussels in 2008 and taught Investment Law at Birzeit University between 2020 and 2023.

A native Arabic speaker, Bashir is fluent in English and Hebrew and brings extensive experience working across multicultural environments.
